Olympus has announced the addition of a line of dissolvable sinus spacing and hemostat products to its ENT product portfolio, according to a company news release.
Products include spacers, foams and powders. They are available in either plant-based or chitosan polysaccharide polymers.
Olympus has entered into a distribution partnership with Hemostasis for the products.
"The new offerings extend Olympus' current world-class ENT solutions to surgeons performing sinus and anterior skull base procedures and their patients," said Perry Mykleby, vice president of marketing for Olympus' ENT sales, in the release. "We are pleased to collaborate with Hemostasis, a high-quality medical device manufacturer partner, to enhance patient care."
