A new ASC for Colorado's Vail Valley Medical Center will proceed as planned after there were no concerns expressed by residents during a meeting held about the project, according to a report by the Vail Daily.
The plans call for a 20,000-square-foot facility that will include four ORs and will cost $15-$20 million. Construction is expected to begin in the spring and open a year later.
The surgery center will perform procedures in many specialties including GI, orthopedics and plastics, according to the report.
