Munich Health North America conducted a survey that showed 82 percent of responding employers have had a growing interest in self-funding their group health insurance plans. Nearly 62 percent of employers intend to grow their self-funding over the next year.

ASCs, medical complex to be built on closed New Jersey hospital site.
Kessler Management purchased the site of William B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton, N.J., in October 2011 and plans to open a medical complex in its place. The site is expected to house ambulatory surgery centers, physicians, rehabilitation services and testing firms.
