Harrisburg, Pa.-based UPMC Pinnacle plans to open an outpatient facility after moving UPMC Memorial operations to a new, 102-bed hospital, according to Fox43.
Three notes:
1. UPMC Memorial currently operates in York, Pa. A new five-level, 220,000-square-foot facility in west York officially opens on Aug. 18. There, UPMC Memorial will offer acute care, emergency, maternity, cardiology and vascular, chronic disease management, and surgical services.
2. The 120,000-square-foot UPMC Outpatient Center will open next to the new UPMC Memorial building on Sept. 9, offering ambulatory surgery and outpatient imaging services.
3. UPMC Outpatient Center will also house a sleep lab, a cancer center, offices for specialty physicians and community meeting rooms.
