SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital is breaking ground on a $20 million ASC this fall, local CBS affiliate KMOV4 reported June 29.
The three-story ASC will feature four operating rooms, a sterile processing department and 21,000 square feet for future expansion.
The ASC will be connected to the hospital's main campus through a tunnel. SSM Health expects the ASC to be fully operational by January 2023.
