Orlando Health has started construction on a $160 million medical office building focused on pediatric care, according to a Feb. 22 report from the Orlando Business Journal.
The facility is expected to be six stories and 189,000 square feet, according to the report. It will feature 30 pediatric specialties and will be home to 100 physicians who are currently with Orlando Health.
Officials plan for the building to be complete in 2026. The system has around $9.6 billion of assets under management and a fiscal 2023 revenue of $6.1 billion. It also employs 27,000 team members and more than 1,500 physicians.
In 2023, the system reported 6.6 million outpatient visits.
