The Biloxi (Miss.) City Council recently approved a $5 million tax increment financing plan for a medical center that will include an ASC, WLOX reported May 29.
The first phase of construction for the Tomaston Medical Park would include an ASC and an urgent care clinic on a two-acre section of the site.
Construction for the medical center could begin as soon as August, WLOX reported.
