Buffalo, N.Y.-based providers Kaleida Health and Western New York Urology Associates are planning a $5 million ASC addition on Kaleida's Harlem Road facility, Buffalo Business First reports.
What you should know:
1. The ASC will have eight procedure rooms.
2. The expansion will be made in Kaleida's medical office building. The space used to house oncology services, which were moved to Williamsville, N.Y.
3. Thirteen urologists will see patients in the new space.
4. The center expects to perform 13,650 procedures in its first year.
5. The project needs to be approved by the state's health department.
