Audubon ASC St. Francis (Colorado Springs, Colo.). The Surgical Care Affiliates-managed ASC started its total knee program in 2016. The center is a joint venture between Penrose St Francis Health Services in Colorado Springs and several local physicians. The multispecialty ASC offers surgical services in orthopedics, ENT, general surgery and urology, among other specialties.
Blue Ridge Surgery Center (Raleigh, N.C.). The surgery center started performing total knee replacements in 2014. Opened in 1985, the multispecialty ASC is affiliated with Surgical Care Affiliates. The 13,000-square-foot facility features six operating rooms and a minor procedure room.
Boca Raton (Fla.) Outpatient Surgery Center. The ASC's total knee replacement program was established in 2015. The Surgical Care Affiliates-affiliated surgery center was opened in 1992, and it is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. It offers surgical services in numerous specialties, such as gastroenterology, gynecology, orthopedics, ENT and pain management.
Brookside Surgery Center (Battle Creek, Mich.). The ASC started its total knee program in October 2014, and it was the first ASC in Michigan to perform this type of surgery. Joseph Burkhardt, DO, an orthopedic surgeon and physician partner, performed the procedure. The Meridian Surgical Partners-affiliated facility was opened in 1997. The 11,540-square-foot center features three operating rooms and two procedure rooms. The center offers care in ENT, pain management ophthalmology and plastic surgery, among other specialties.
Charlotte (N.C.) Surgery Center. The ASC started offering performing total knee replacements in 2014. The surgery center opened in 1984 and today features seven operating rooms and a procedure room. The ASC, affiliated with Surgical Care Affiliates, offers gynecologic, ophthalmologic, orthopedic and urologic services, among others.
Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery (Mokena, Ill.). In 2016, the surgery center's physicians began performing total knee replacements. The center is affiliated with Surgical Care Affiliates and is Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care-accredited. The center offer care in numerous specialties, including orthopedics, ophthalmology and general surgery.
Fayetteville (N.C.) Ambulatory Surgery Center. The center's total knee replacement program was established in 2014. Opened in 1992, the Surgical Care Affiliates-affiliated facility includes 11 operating rooms, three procedure rooms and an overnight recovery care center. It offers services in a wide array of specialties, such as neurosurgery, gynecology, ENT and ophthalmology.
La Veta Surgical Center (Orange, Calif.). The ASC started offering total knee replacements in 2015. Affiliated with Surgical Care Affiliates, the center was founded in 1988. It is Medicare-certified and accredited by The Joint Commission. Its physicians specialize in gynecology, orthopedics, pain management, plastic surgery and vascular surgery, among other specialties.
MemorialCare Surgical Center at Long Beach (Calif.). The surgery center's total knee replacement program began in 2016. The GI-focused ASC opened its doors in 1994. It is Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care-accredited and affiliated with Surgical Care Affiliates.
Mercer County Surgery Center (Lawrenceville, N.J.). The ASC was the first ambulatory surgery center in the central and southern regions of New Jersey to offer outpatient total joint replacement procedures. In May, the surgery center celebrated its 25th total joint replacement case. The freestanding facility includes two operating suites and one procedure room. It provides care in orthopedics, pain management and gastroenterology.
Mississippi Valley Surgery Center (Davenport, Iowa). The ASC's total knee replacement program began in 2007. Opened in 1996, the center is Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care-accredited. An affiliate of Surgical Care Affiliates, the surgery center offers surgical services in numerous specialties, such as ophthalmology, oral surgery, vascular surgery and GI/endoscopy.
Northwoods Surgery Center (Woodruff, Wis.). The ASC established its total knee replacement program in 2008. Pinnacle III manages the center, which is a joint venture between local surgeons and Aspirus Wausau (Wis.) Hospital. The facility features two operating rooms and offers care in ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain management and podiatry. The center is a member of the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association.
Oregon Outpatient Surgery Center (Tigard). The ASC's physicians began performing total joint replacements in March of 2014, including total knee cases. Opened in 2004, the center is a joint venture with Portland, Ore.-based Providence Health and Services. The center is Medicare-certified and Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care-accredited.
Orlando (Fla.) Surgery Center for Outpatient Surgery. In 2015, the Surgical Care Affiliates-affiliated surgery center began offering total knee replacement procedures. Open since 1992, the center is Medicare-certified and accredited by The Joint Commission. The multispecialty ASC performs more than 6,000 procedures a year.
Orthopaedic and Spine Center of Southern Colorado (Colorado Springs.). The surgery center started offering total knee procedures in January 2015. The 30,000-square-foot facility features six operating rooms and nine private suites. The ASC offers a wide array of orthopedic, spine and pain management procedures. The center is affiliated with Pinnacle III.
Physician's Surgical Care Center (Winter Park, Fla.). The ASC, affiliated with Surgical Care Affiliates, started its total knee program in 2016. The surgery center has been providing care since 1993. Today, its physicians perform more than 9,000 patients per year. The center offers care in orthopedics, ENT, general surgery, plastic surgery and pain management.
Premier Surgical Center of Michigan (Clinton). The surgery center's total knee replacement program was established in 2014. The Surgical Care Affiliates-affiliated ASC offers surgical services in a number of specialties, such as gastroenterology, orthopedics and urology.
Presidio Surgery Center (San Francisco). The surgery center began offering total knee replacements in 2014. Established in 1989, the ASC is affiliated with Surgical Care Affiliates and California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. The facility is accredited by The Joint Commission and Medicare-certified.
Proliance Eastside Surgery Center (Kirkland, Wash.). Physicians at the independently owned surgery center have been performing joint replacements since 2014, including total knee replacements. Patients at the center participate in the SwiftPath program for outpatient joint replacement. The program includes a specialized joint camp designed to promote early discharge, multimodal pain management and family involvement in the care. During the joint camp, a standardized algorithm is used to identify which patients are appropriate for same-day discharge. The center is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.
St. Cloud (Minn.) Surgical Center. In 2014, St. Cloud Surgical Center established a total knee program. The surgery center has been providing care to the surrounding communities since 1972. It is Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care-accredited. It features nine operating rooms and a recovery care unit. The center's physicians provide care in a wide array of specialties, including gastroenterology, general surgery, ophthalmology, orthopedics and ENT.
Surgical Center of Greensboro (N.C.). Opened in 1983, the surgery center's total knee program was established in 2016. A member of Surgical Care Affiliates, the center is accredited by The Joint Commission. The facility features 13 operating rooms and a recovery care center.
The Surgery Center at Lutheran (Wheat Ridge, Colo.). The Pinnacle III-managed surgery center's total knee replacement program began in February 2012, under the leadership of Thomas H. Eickmann, MD, and Diane Lampron. Opened in 2006, the surgery center is a partnership between SCL Health Lutheran Medical Center in Wheat Ridge and local surgeons. The center is Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care-accredited and Medicare-certified. The center features four operating rooms and one procedure room, and includes more than 43 physicians.
