The hardest states to hire workers

Alaska and Colorado are the states where employers are struggling the most to hire workers, according to an analysis from personal finance website WalletHub. 

Using data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, WalletHub compared all 50 states and the District of Columbia based on two metrics: the rate of job openings for the last month and for the last year. 

Here are the 25 states where employers are struggling the most to hire workers:

7. Wyoming 

8. Delaware

9. West Virginia 

10. Maryland

11. Virginia

12. South Carolina
