Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare named Jennifer Berres senior vice president and chief human resource officer.
Four quick points:
1. Ms. Berres will assume the role on Nov. 1, replacing John M. Steele. Mr. Steele will retire in early 2020.
2. She currently leads 600-plus HR leaders across multiple business lines as HCA's vice president of HR business partners and HR strategy.
3. Ms. Berres has held multiple other HR roles, including positions in HCA's Physician Services Group and West Florida Division, since she joined HCA in 1993.
4. HCA has a portfolio of 184 hospitals and roughly 2,000 care sites, including ASCs.
