Covenant Physician Partners has appointed three executives to its leadership team as it pivots from being an ASC-focused company to a physician services company.
Jason Dean, who joined the company in April 2018, was named Covenant's senior vice president and chief accounting officer. Mark Kelly will be senior vice president of Covenant's eye care division, and Beth Wampler was appointed senior vice president and chief human resources officer. Ms. Wampler joined Covenant in July 2013, and Mr. Kelly joined in November 2018.
"These three strategic appointments will directly impact our ability to serve our physician partners and patients,” said Lew Little, president and CEO of Covenant. "Jason, Mark and Beth have been critical to the growth of the company over the last several years. These promotions reflect both their work to date as well as their expected future contributions in 2020 and beyond."
In January, it was announced that Covenant, which is backed by private equity firm KKR, would rebrand as a physician services organization after it partnered with Corpus Christi-based Texas Eye Care Network.
