Jon Kimball, MD, is an orthopedic spine surgeon practicing at Tampa-based Laser Spine Institute. A member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, North American Spine Society and Society for Minimally Invasive Surgery, Dr. Kimball has certification from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
He has instructed residents and fellows spanning the nation as well as treated numerous football and basketball athletes. Publications including SpineLine and Journal of Spinal Disorders & Techniques have published his research.
Dr. Kimball earned his medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill. He then completed his residency at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida Health in Gainesville.
