The University of Rochester (N.Y.) Medical Center and the New York Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy will host GI trainee fellows for a hands-on endoscopy workshop.
The workshop will be held Sept. 13 at URMC's Center for Experiential Learning. The program will offer 20 fellows from upstate New York an interactive learning experience in various endoscopic techniques.
Truptesh Kothari, MD, director of URMC's developmental endoscopy lab, will lead the workshop. Vivek Kaul, MD, chief of the gastroenterology and hepatology division; Asad Ullah, MD, director of endoscopy; and Shivangi Kothari, MD, associate director of endoscopy, will also provide instruction.
