Here's what you should know:
1. TDDC is marketed as the largest gastroenterology practice in the U.S.
2. James Weber, MD, founded the practice in 1995. The organization has more than 40 locations throughout Texas.
3. According to Bloomberg, Nexus Health Capital is an investment banking firm, providing financial advisor, merger and acquisition and private capital financing services.
4. If TDDC was to explore bringing on a private equity partner, it would be the second gastroenterology-focused group in the U.S. to do so. Miami-based Gastro Health was the first.
