Houston Methodist to expand endoscopy services in $240M plan

Debra Sukin, CEO of Houston Methodist The Woodlands, detailed a $240 million expansion plan for a new patient care tower with endoscopy services on May 29, according to local news source Woodlands Online.

Key details:

1. The construction plan includes an expansion of the hospital's endoscopy and cardiology centers, as well as adding 10 operating rooms and 100 beds.

2. The hospital, which opened two years ago, is expanding to meet demand.

3. The hospital expects to break ground on the expansion in September.
