Gastroenterologist on the Move: Dr. Sandra Kim Named Medical Director of IBD Center at OH's Nationwide Children's Hospital

Pediatric gastroenterologist Sandra Kim, MD, has been named medical director of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, according to a news release.

 

Dr. Kim is also associate professor of clinical pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

 

She comes to Nationwide Children's from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill where she served as a pediatric gastroenterologist and an assistant professor in the division of gastroenterology.

 

Dr. Kim received her MD from the University of Michigan. She completed a residency in general pediatrics and a clinical fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Dr. Kim completed a postdoctoral fellowship in mucosal immunity and GI microbiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Center for GI Biology and Disease.
