Gastroenterologist Adam Gorelick, MD, has joined Western Connecticut Medical Group in Danbury, according to a news release.
Western Connecticut Medical Group (formerly Danbury Office of Physician Services) is a regional medical practice affiliated with Danbury Hospital and New Milford Hospital as part of Western Connecticut Health Network.
Prior to his appointment in Danbury, Dr. Gorelick served as chief of the section of gastroenterology at Hospital of St. Raphael in New Haven, Conn., and as clinical site director for the Yale University GI Fellowship Program in New Haven. He also served as assistant clinical professor of gastroenterology at Yale University School of Medicine
Dr. Gorelick earned his MD from New York University School of Medicine, and completed a gastroenterology fellowship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
