The American Gastroenterological Association and Rx.Health partnered to launch a nationwide digital health platform for gastroenterology practices.
The partnership launched a Virtual Care Hub and Telehealth program any practice can use. The platform allows clinicians to digitally screen and triage patients before an in-person appointment, accommodates virtual visits through a dedicated telehealth room, and includes GI education modules including content from the AGA patient education center. Practices can access the platform for discounted rates.
"By supporting seamless transition to virtual care, we are enabling a new model that allows AGA to support continuity of care during the COVID-19 crisis and help our members, patients, and communities," said AGA CEO Tom Serena.
