Integrated Medical Professionals has opened Advanced Colon & Rectal Surgery Centers of New York in Melville. Integrated Medical Professionals is a clinical associate of Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. Colorectal surgeons Bradley G. Bute, MD, and Marisa Ranire-Maguire, MD, will head the new center.
Craig E. Amshel, MD, of Brandon Ambulatory Surgery Center, has opened a satellite office in South Tampa, Fla. Dr. Amshel performs colon and rectal surgery.
The American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy has opened its Institute for Training in Downers Grove, Ill. The $20 million gastrointestinal endoscopy training center includes 16 training stations, a 100-seat auditorium, conference rooms and more.
Three Norwich, Conn.-based physicians have broken ground on a $2 million medical office building, which will be home to Sang Sridhar Digestive Disease Consultants and office space for rent. All three physicians remain connected with Eastern Connecticut Endoscopy Center.
Construction has begun on the 82,000-square-foot St. Anthony Healthplex in Mustang, Okla. The facility will include an outpatient endoscopy department, six-physician clinic and freestanding emergency department.
Symbion Healthcare, St. Louis Surgery Center and a group of three physicians have partnered to open the St. Louis Incontinence Institute, an ambulatory surgery center dedicated to providing care for incontinence patients. The three physicians at the center include a colorectal surgeon, urologist and pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgeon.
