Aasma Shaukat, MD.
Dr. Shaukat is a gastroenterologist at New York City-based NYU Langone Health and a member of the Iterative Health scientific board. She co-authored a study that was awarded an outstanding research award by the American College of Gastroenterology.
Dr. Shaukat recently spoke with Becker's about the benefits of AI-assisted colonoscopies and how new AI technologies are changing the field of gastroenterology for the better.
Anne Marie Lennon, MD, PhD.
Dr. Lennon is a gastroenterologist and innovator in early detection of pancreatic cancer. She was recently named the next chair of the department of medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and chair of medicine at UPMC, the first woman to lead the department.
Dr. Lennon currently serves as the Moses and Helen Golden Paulson professor of gastroenterology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore.
Daniel Mullady, MD.
Dr. Mullady is a gastroenterology and interventional endoscopy specialist at the Center for Digestive and Liver Health in Savannah, Ga. He recently completed the first peroral endoscopic myotomy in the area.
Dr. Mullady joined the practice in 2022 and is committed to bringing new care options to the region, according to an Oct. 31 news release from the organization.
Lawrence Kim, MD.
Dr. Kim is a gastroenterologist who was recently reelected for a second term as the secretary and treasurer of the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. The first gastroenterologist to join the AAAHC board of directors in 2004, he is currently vice president of the American Gastroenterological Association.
Mohammad Fahad Ali, MD.
Dr. Ali is the director of endoscopy at Oswego (N.Y.) Health. He was recently named chief of gastroenterology and hepatology and director of the Center for Gastroenterology & Metabolic Diseases at Oswego.
Dr. Ali is an expert in treating a variety of GI diseases, with a focus on GI motility and inflammatory bowel disease.
