Northwestern expands cardiology reach

Chicago-based Northwestern Medicine Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute has opened a new facility in Mokena, Ind., according to a Nov. 20 report from The Times of Northwest Indiana.

Cardiologists Lisa Pudusseri, DO, and Maitrayee Vadali, MD, will serve patients at the new facility.

By adding a new facility in Indiana, patients will not have to travel as far to seek specialized cardiac care.

Dr. Pudusseri specializes in aortic valve disease, coronary artery disease and cardiac oncology, while Dr. Vadali specializes in echocardiography, lipid disorders, valvular heart disease, coronary heart disease and atrial fibrillation.
