Montgomery, Ala.-based Southeastern Cardiology abruptly closed its doors on March 8, according to a March 9 report from local news affiliate WAFF.
Southeastern Cardiology was a private practice located on Baptist Medical Center South’s campus, but it was not directly associated with or operated by Baptist Health.
No information was given on why the clinic decided to suddenly close its doors, according to the report.
"Patients can rest assured that Cardiology services at Baptist Medical Center South will not be impacted and all scheduled and emergent procedures will continue," Kadie Agnew, a spokesperson for Baptist Medical Center South, told WAFF.
