Nurses and medical practice staff have gotten raises over the past four years, according to a report from MGMA.
To compile its report, MGMA surveyed individuals in management and staff positions from over 2,600 organizations.
Four notes:
1. According to the report, nursing salaries have increased by $4 per hour over the past three years.
2. Leaders of medical practices received salary increases ranging from 4 percent to 11 percent over the past four years, depending on their position within their organization.
3. Healthcare CEOs experienced salary growth between 11.83 percent and 13.75 percent from 2014 to 2018, depending on the size of the organization.
4. Clinicians in Southern states reported the greatest salary increases.
