Thirty-one percent of women have a net worth of $1 million or more, compared to 47 percent of men, according to Medscape's Physician Wealth and Debt Report 2018.
Medscape surveyed 20,329 physicians across more than 29 specialties.
Sixty percent of African-American/Black physicians surveyed were female, whereas in other racial and ethnic groups, 30 percent to 40 percent were female.
