Most practicing physicians are happy and would choose to become physicians again, according to a new survey from the American Academy of Family Physicians and CompHealth.
Over 5,000 physicians responded to the survey, sharing their thoughts on job satisfaction, happiness and stress.
The eight most satisfied specialties:
1. Urgent care (52 percent)
2. Surgery (46 percent)
3. Psychiatry (45 percent)
4. OB/GYN (43 percent)
5. Hospitalists (43 percent)
6. Emergency medicine (41 percent)
7. Primary care (41 percent)
8. Other (40 percent)
