An operating room nurse at Peak One Surgery Center in Frisco, Colo., had a friendly encounter with a moose as it walked near the medical facility's window.

1. Rita Allen, RN, is a travel nurse with Omaha-based LRS Healthcare. She recorded a video of the moose standing peacefully in the snow, munching on a branch.
2. This isn't the first time a moose has gravitated toward a medical facility this January. A moose in Alaska wandered into Anchorage-based Alaska Regional Hospital Jan. 7.
3. Colorado's moose population is thriving, according to Colorado Parks & Wildlife. Moose were rarely seen in the area through the early 1970s, but today there are nearly 3,000 in the state.
