Here are six updates on ASC companies.
AmSurg's 2015 fourth quarter net revenues increased 21 percent to $704.3 million, compared to $581.8 million during the fourth quarter of 2014. For the full year, net revenues were $2.57 billion, up 58 percent from $1.62 billion for 2014.
Physicians Endoscopy and the physicians of DeKalb Gastroenterology Associates formed a joint venture relationship on Dec. 31, 2015. Physicians Endoscopy acquired a minority interest in the GI group's DeKalb Endoscopy Center in Decatur, Ga.
On a pro forma basis, Tenet Healthcare's ambulatory segment generated net operating revenue of $397 million, up nearly 29 percent from $308 million in the same period of 2014. For the full year 2015, the ambulatory segment delivered net operating revenue of nearly $1.3 billion, a 17.8 percent increased from $1.1 billion in 2014.
On Feb. 22, Tenet reported it set aside $238 million to settle a federal kick-back investigation regarding Tenet's contracts between four of its hospitals. The lawsuit alleges Tenet, its four hospitals and Health Management Associates, which operates 71 hospitals in 15 states, paid kickbacks to Georgia-based Clinical de la Mama for Medicaid patient referrals
Surgical Care Affiliates reported full year 2015 EBITDA increasing about 12 percent to $175.3 million.
On Feb. 25, Medical Facilities Corp. reported a monthly dividend. The company will issue stockholders a dividend of $0.0938 per share on March 15.
