The Orthopaedic South Surgical Center partnered with Resurgens Orthopaedics on a project to provide winter coats for community members in need, according to a report from The Citizen.
Resurgens and Orthopaedic South Surgical Center will host a coat drive at four different locations across the Atlanta area where people can drop off gently-used coats or blankets that will be donated to a battered women's shelter, The Haven House of Henry County.
This is the seventh year these organizations have participated in coat drives, with more than 1,000 coats and blankets collected and distributed over the past six years.
