Here are five updates on ASC management companies:
Sioux Falls (S.D.) Specialty Hospital, a part of Medical Facilities Corp., acquired Prairie States Surgical Center in Sioux Falls. The deal is valued at nearly $19.95 million and will be paid over five years.
Physicians Endoscopy partnered with Englewood (N.J.) Hospital and Medical Center and the physicians of Gastroenterology Group of Northern New Jersey to open Northern New Jersey Center for Advanced Endoscopy in Englewood Cliffs, N.J.
Tenet Healthcare shares traded up 3.4 percent, hitting $22.72 per share, during the week of Sept. 26 to Sept. 30.
Sheridan, AmSurg's physician services division, acquired California-based Fidere Anesthesia Consultants. Fidere Anesthesia Consultants practice offers services to various ambulatory surgery centers in Silicon Valley as well as El Camino Hospital System in Mountain View, Calif.
During the week of Sept. 26 to Sept. 30, Hospital Corporation of America shares fell 0.6 percent, trading at $75.63 per share.
