Cardinal Innovations Healthcare, a specialty health plan serving populations with complex needs, named Ranota Hall, MD, executive vice president and CMO, and Keith McCoy, MD, chief clinical officer and medical director.
Here are eight things to know:
1. Dr. Hall, board-certified in general and child and adolescent psychiatry, is experienced in psychiatry, neurocognitive development and program development and implementation.
2. She will oversee medical and strategic planning for the company.
3. Prior to this appointment, Dr. Hall was medical director of the North Carolina Medicaid account and Children's Health Insurance Program at ValueOptions.
4. She received her medical degree from East Tennessee State University, Quillen College of Medicine, and completed a residency and fellowship at Duke University.
5. Dr. McCoy is also certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a member of the executive council of the North Carolina Psychiatric Association.
6. He will oversee quality and cost-effective utilization management as well as development and implementation of the clinical design plan.
7. Prior to this appointment, Dr. McCoy was the interim medical director for the Wake County Local Management Entity.
8. He received his medical degree from and completed a residency in psychiatry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
