Here are six updates on ASC management companies from the last week.
Tenet Healthcare senior strategic advisor Reginald M. Ballantyne III is ending his career at the company on June 30. In 2013, Mr. Ballantyne played an essential, "behind the scenes" role in expanding the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System.
Nobilis Health launched Concertis, a technology platform that creates new payment and delivery methodologies. Concertis' bundled payment will provide users a warranty for surgical services, and its care navigation team will work with patients until 30 days to 60 days after their procedure.
SunTrust analysts predict AmSurg will post earnings per share of $1.20 for the second quarter of 2017. AmSurg has a 50-day moving average of $70.94 and 200-day moving average of $75.51.
Medical Facilities Corp. will pay shareholders of record a dividend of $0.0938 per share. The dividend indicates a $1.13 dividend on an annualized basis.
As of Dec. 31, 2015, Surgery Partners had cash and cash equivalents of $57.9 million, and had a net operating cash flow of $5.7 million for the fourth quarter.
Surgical Care Affiliates' short interest increased 16.88 percent. In April, SCA's total short interest hit 1.26 million shares.
