Washington University and Barnes-Jewish Hospital opened Center for Advanced Medicine South County in St. Louis.
Here are four points:
1. CAM South County will offer patients outpatient surgery, physical therapy services, imaging and laboratory services.
2. The 84,500-square-foot facility will house Washington University's physician subspecialty offices including internal medicine, orthopedic surgery and OB/GYN.
3. Equipped with two operating rooms and two minor procedure rooms, the center's surgeons can perform nearly all outpatient procedures at the facility.
4. On May 16, Washington University and Barnes-Jewish Hospital will open the next phase of the center.
