Newnan, Ga.-based Southeastern Regional Medical Center will open its Southeastern Health Park development, including a new outpatient surgery center, Oct. 1, according to a report from The Robesonian.
The 80,000-square-foot medical center cost $22 million and has been under construction for the past 10 months. The first floor of the building will be an ASC, which is designed to accommodate 6,000 surgeries and 2,500 endoscopy procedures annually when fully operational. The surgery center will employ 20 people, according to the report.
