A proposed ambulatory surgery center in Franklin Lakes, N.J., is one step closer to becoming a reality after the ASC developer reached an agreement with his neighbors, according to a Franklin Lakes/Oakland Suburban News report.
Tice Road Properties' is applying to the Franklin Lakes Planning Board to build a surgery center at 793 Franklin Ave. The attorney for Sabra Realty Associates, which owns Sabra Dental Studios located at 795 Franklin Ave., had objected to the project, but the two sides came to an agreement that was announced at the board's meeting Sept 7.
The project still requires the planning board's approval, and there is another hurdle for it to overcome. The board representative overseeing the proceedings expressed her desire to see traffic flow a certain way, while the developer's attorney said the flow she desires is not feasible.
The next hearing for the ASC is scheduled for Sept. 21.
