Jamison, Pa.-based Physicians Endoscopy is partnering with St. Mary Medical Center, the Gastroenterology Group PA and Center for Colon and Rectal Health physicians, all based in Langhorne, Pa., to acquire a minority interest in Langhorne-based The Endoscopy Center at St. Mary.

1. The parties finalized the partnership on Dec. 1, 2016.
2. PE's investment in The Endoscopy Center at St. Mary marks the company's 43rd ASC.
3. The Endoscopy Center at St. Mary performs more than 5,500 procedures each year.
4. The GI-focused ASC has four operating rooms.

"While the center has been successful for many years, the owners felt a business partner would help to support operations, reduce costs and implement strategic planning for the next several years as healthcare continues to change."
