Palmetto Bone & Joint opens $9M facility with orthopedic surgery center — 4 highlights

Clinton, S.C.-based Palmetto Bone & Joint opened a $9 million facility in Chapin, S.C., The Lexington Ledger reports.

Here are four highlights.

1. The facility will offer orthopedic treatments and outpatient surgery for issues ranging from sports injuries to geriatric ailments.

2. The facility was built out of a need for services in Chapin, as patients had been traveling to Newberry, S.C., for treatment, orthopedic surgeon Phillip Milner, MD, of Palmetto Bone & Joint told Cola Daily.

3. Construction on the approximately 20,000-square-foot center began in December 2016.

4. James Loging, MD, is one of four orthopedic surgeons at Palmetto Bone & Joint, which was founded in 1994. Mark Wilson, MD, will join the group in August 2018.
