A state review board granted Albany, N.Y.-based OrthoNY preliminary approval for its $5.63 million Clifton Park, N.Y-based ASC, first reported by the Albany Business Review.
Here's what you should know:
1. The facility will be 12,260 square feet. It'll feature four operating rooms and 18 recovery beds.
2. This will be OrthoNY's second ASC facility. The group opened Executive Woods Ambulatory Surgery Center in Albany in 2000.
3. OrthoNY also has orthopedic urgent care locations with walk-in clinics for cost-effective evaluations. The urgent care clinics have imaging services and physicians onsite.
4. In addition, OrthoNY also has two physical therapy centers and three pain management suites.
5. The practice's physicians specialize in spine, shoulder, upper and lower extremities, sports medicine, knee, hip and general orthopedic services.
