Ohio State wins clearance to buy 34 acres for outpatient care center — 3 details

A university committee approved Columbus-based The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center's plan to acquire property for an ambulatory care center, The Lantern reports.

1. WMC's resolution to purchase 34 acres of vacant land in Dublin, Ohio, was approved by the Ohio State Board of Trustees Master Planning and Facilities committee.

2. The committee also approved a resolution permitting the university to enter an economic development agreement for the project.

3. The city of Dublin currently owns the property where WMC plans to build the outpatient care center, which would consolidate several practices.
