Surgicare of Wichita (Kan.) has purchased property to build a new ambulatory surgery center in the city, according to a report from the Wichita Business Journal.
Surgicare purchased 3.5 acres in a new medical park. No more details about the plans for the property were released, according to the report.
Surgicare was established in 1974 as the Minor Surgery Center of Wichita and was the second freestanding ASC in the United States, according to its website.
It is an entity of HCA.
