Nashville, Tenn.-based Montecito Medical acquired Orthopaedic Associates of Wisconsin's building in Pewaukee.
Here's what you should know.
1. Montecito acquired the 71,000-square-foot medical office building. The property is the primary location for OAW.
2. The medical office building also houses a 24,563-square-foot ASC. The ASC has five operating rooms and 20 recovery rooms. The ASC is a joint venture between OAW and Waukesha, Wis.-based ProHealth.
3. In addition, the building has medical offices, clinical space and an imaging center.
Montecito Medical's Vice President for Acquisitions Chris Conk said, "This asset is a great addition to our portfolio. We're excited to partner with a leading healthcare provider like Orthopaedic Associates of Wisconsin. We're also excited about expanding our presence within the Milwaukee medical market. This transaction brings our footprint to almost 200,000 square feet of medical office space in Milwaukee."
