KKR buys Covenant Surgical Partners, Surgery Partners equity down 42% following Q2 results & more — 6 ASC company key notes

Here are six updates on ASC management companies to note:

Private equity firm KKR acquired Covenant Surgical Partners from previous owners and shareholders. Currently, Covenant owns 37 gastrointestinal and ophthalmic ASCs and practices in 17 states.

Medical Facilities Corp. generated revenues of $96.1 million for the second quarter of fiscal year 2017.

For fiscal year 2017, Tenet Healthcare anticipates adjusted EBITDA between $2.45 billion and $2.55 billion.

SurgCenter Development partnered with Geneva Surgical Suites to open a 7,086-square-foot center in Genoa City, Wis. Geneva Surgical Suites houses two operating rooms and one minor procedure room.

Since Aug. 8, Surgery Partners' equity declined 42 percent. The company's net losses attributable to Surgery Partners were $4.5 million in the second quarter of fiscal year 2017.

Envision Healthcare's physician services division had adjusted EBITDA of $193.3 million in the second quarter of fiscal year 2017.
