Johns Hopkins Medicine unveiling new building with surgery center — 4 insights

Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins Medicine is celebrating the opening of Pavilion III, a 110,000-square-foot medical office building, on Sept. 28, The Baltimore Sun reports.

1. The building opened May 28.

2. The building includes an outpatient surgery center, a medical imaging center, urology and oncology care centers, and a musculoskeletal center.

3. Johns Hopkins spent $80 million on the project.

4. The health system will hold a community health fair at the celebration.
