Florida Specialty Surgery Center opened an additional operating room, according to Abha Shah, BSN, RN, the ASC's clinical director.
Three quick points:
1. The new OR opened in October, allowing the center to complete multiple cases at the same time.
2. St. Petersburg-based Florida Specialty Surgery Center was founded in 2008.
3. The ASC has contracts with Tampa Bay Anesthesia and Florida Medical Pain Management, both in St. Petersburg.
