Simone Development submitted a proposal to convert a mostly unused office building in Harrison, N.Y., into a four-level pediatric ambulatory care facility for New York City-based Montefiore Medical Center, West Fair Online reports.
Here's what you should know:
1. The Harrison Planning Board will consider plans on the development Nov. 27.
2. The 118,000-square-foot facility would feature an urgent care space, laboratory facilities, an imaging suite, behavioral health offices and a children's evaluation and rehabilitation center.
3. Montefiore is negotiating with White Plains (N.Y.) Hospital to provide oncology services. If the partnership comes to fruition, the center would build an addition to house a linear accelerator for cancer care.
