Cross Keys Capital acts as financial advisor to Jandee Anesthesiology Partners, Karadan Anesthesiology and Pain Management in Sheridan deal: 4 key points

Cross Keys Capital was Jandee Anesthesiology Partners and Karadan Anesthesiology and Pain Management's exclusive financial advisor in its sale to AmSurg's Sheridan Healthcare.

Here are four key points:

1. Sheridan acquired Jandee Anesthesiology Partners and Karadan Anesthesiology and Pain Management in May, thereby expanding the company's anesthesiology services business.

2. Jandee Anesthesiology Partners and Karadan Anesthesiology and Pain Management have five physicians. The groups' five physicians provide anesthesia services at nine ambulatory surgery centers and other New Jersey and New York practices.

3. Cross Keys' Managing Director Bill Britton and Vice President Victor Kalafa led the transaction.

4. This transaction marks Cross Key's 49th and 50th physician group practice deals that the company has closed on behalf of its physician group practice clients.

"The healthcare marketplace continues to evolve at a record pace," said Mr. Britton. "As we have seen with recent M&A deals, size matters and desire for value added services that only affiliation with a larger entity can bring, coupled with accelerating hospital consolidation, further fuels the rapid pace of change in the healthcare landscape."
