Colorado hospital opening $12M outpatient surgery center — 4 insights

Pueblo, Colo.-based Parkview Medical Center will open its new $12 million outpatient surgery center Jan. 17, The Pueblo Chieftain reports.

1. The center will feature four operating rooms and four endoscopy suites.

2. Parkview began constructing the center a year ago. It’ll conduct a ribbon cutting and an open house to celebrate the center’s opening.

3. The surgery center is an element of Parkview’s larger expansion plans. The expansion will culminate with Parkview renovating its emergency room.

4. Hospital officials anticipate the outpatient center will alleviate congestion on the main hospital campus.
