The Clarus Eye Centre in Lacey, Wash., opened a new surgical center, according to a report from The Olympian.
Here are five key notes on the eye center:
1. Jay Rudd, MD, an ophthalmologist and surgeon at Clarus Eye Centre, opened a new 4,000-square-foot facility to treat his patients.
2. The new center, Aurora Lasik, opened earlier this month and the first procedures have already been performed.
3. The new facility has two lasers — Alcon lasers — with one preparing eyes for the surgery and the second correcting vision.
4. The facility charges $2,200 per eye for Lasik, covering the cost of future refinements.
5. Dr. Rudd is scheduled to perform the first Kamira inlay procedure at the surgery center in December.
