Anchor Health Properties acquired two medical office buildings in Atlanta on behalf of the Chestnut Healthcare Fund.
What you should know:
1. The two properties total more than 45,000 square feet.
2. Anchor acquired the properties because they are adjacent to two key hospitals, Piedmont Newnan (Ga.) Hospital and Swinnett (Ga.) Medical Center.
3. Avail Dermatology and Piedmont Healthcare anchor the Newnan building.
4. Northside Hospital and Northeast Endoscopy anchor the Gwinnett building.
5. Anchor Health Chief Investment Officer James Schmid said, "The Newnan and Gwinnett medical office buildings are ideally located to serve the growing patient population and we look forward to working closely with the physician leadership in the years ahead as we seek to further strengthen its position in the marketplace."
