Pasadena, Calif.-based Acuity Eye Group acquired Yucca Valley, Calif.-based Schultz Eye Clinic, according to a Jan. 19 news release.
Schultz Eye Clinic is run by Gerald Schultz, MD, the release said. The acquisition expands Acuity's footprint in the Coachella Valley.
"I am very happy to join Acuity Eye Group," Dr. Schultz said in the release. "It's apparent that Acuity Eye Group is a leader in the ophthalmology and retina space and provides high-quality services and support to both its doctors and its patients."
